A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a 52-year-old Oldham woman who is accused of stealing a charity box containing £40 from a pub.
Rita Kathleen Bernadette O’Connor failed to turn up at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on Monday (January 20) to face charges that she took the box from The Crown public house in Walsh Street, on October 17, 2019.
She is further charged with breaking into AJ Mobiles in Oldham on October 16 and stealing a phone worth £400.
