Two top officials from NHS Improvement visited Royal Bolton Hospital to hear about the work of staff in local health services.
Prerana Issar, chief people officer, and Hugh McCaughey, national director of improvement, also visited the Winifred Kettle Health Centre to meet staff from across the Foundation Trust.
James Mawrey, the Trust’s director of workforce, said the visit was very successful.
He said: “Our visitors were clearly impressed by our progress in staff engagement and in championing equality and diversity and were very interested in the partnership working taking place in Bolton.”
The duo also heard a presentation about the Trust’s work in promoting equality and diversity, visited staff from A & E, and discussed partnership working.
