MANY may think panto season has been and gone — but oh no it hasn't!

For Aladdin takes to the stage next week.

The Barlow, Edgworth, and Appleton Dickenson Acting are bringing the much loved story to the stage in their third pantomime.

Audiences will hop aboard the magic carpet and fly away to a place where Arabia meets Edgworth village.

And say producers, the show promises to be The Barlow's biggest pantomime yet.

The production features stunning scenery, dazzling costumes, audience participation and a lot of "dad" jokes.

It is performed by the talented young people from the Appleton Dickenson Acting company, under the direction of Lauren Dickenson and Anthony Appleton.

A spokesman said: "Yhis specially written adaptation by directors Anthony and Lauren gives traditional pantomime elements a fresh polish and sparkle!

"The cast is made up of talented young people from Edgworth and the surrounding areas.

The panto opens on January 31, and showings on are February 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9.

Times are 7pm and 1pm on Sundays

Tickets for reserved seats are available online from www.thebarlow.co.uk/whats-on at £12 for adults and £7 for children, aged three to 12.
