TWO machetes and a stash of drugs were found in a stolen car seized by police in Brierfield.
The Nissan Qashqai was taken in a burglary from a home in Manchester, police said.
Armed police and the dog unit brought the vehicle to a stop.
Two men have been arrested and are currently being questioned by police.
Police tweeted: "Stolen vehicle from Manchester taken by means of burglary. Came into Lancs and great collective work from unarmed and armed tac ops, dog patrol and IR brought to a stop. Two machetes and drugs located in the car. Two currently in custody."
