TWO cars have crashed on a major through route on the outskirts of Bolton town centre.
Police are currently at the scene of the collision in Deane Road at the junction with College Way.
Traffic is being diverted and motorists are experiencing delays.
The crash is believed to have happened at about 1.30pm.
Stagecoach has also warned of delays of about 25 minutes on its route 7 service due to the incident.
Stagecoach Manchester & Wigan tweeted at about 2.30pm: "Route 7. The service has delays which are currently averaging 25 minutes heading towards #Wigan due to congestion on Manchester Road and Deane Road. Please allow extra time to travel. #Bolton #Wigan."
