MAGISTRATES have fined several people after they were caught begging in breach of a public spaces protection order.
Elena Garbojlan, aged 40, of Halliwell Road, Bolton, was fined £70 after she was caught begging in Market Street on July 1 last year and ordered to pay £132 in costs and charges.
Christopher Jones, aged 37, of no fixed address, was fined £100 plus £306 in costs and charges for begging in Bolton on October 3.
John McGarrigan, aged 46, of Rushlake Drive, Bolton, and Michael Moden, aged 42, Lee Moran, Craig McColl, aged 30, and George Platt, aged 51, all of no fixed address, were each ordered to pay the same amount for begging in Bolton on July 2.
