ROADWORKS starting this week are expected to cause serious disruption on major roads in Bolton.

Blackburn Road will have temporary traffic lights from 7pm until 10pm on Wednesday for manhole repairs.

Heavy disruption is expected on Black Horse Street outside Bolton Market because of temporary traffic lights tomorrow.

Breightmet Fold Lane will have stop and go boards during off-peak hours from Tuesday to Friday for road patching.

Temporary traffic lights will be installed in Hill Lane, at junction with Ainse Road, in Blackrod on Wednesday. Expect heavy disruption until February 18 for installation of gas, water and electricity to new developments.

Manchester Road, at the junction of Teak Drive, in Kearsley will have temporary traffic lights during off-peak hours Thursday and Friday.

Park Road in Bolton will have temporary traffic lights from 7pm until 10pm on Tuesday.

Radcliffe Road will have temporary traffic lights during off-peak hours from tomorrow until Wednesday.

St Helens Road will have a lane closed from tomorrow until Wednesday for gas works and is expected to cause major delays.
