POLICE in Bolton have pulled over a driver who appeared to have covered a broken window with plastic wrapping.
The vehicle, a blue Toyota Yaris, was stopped in the early hours of this morning (Friday) after it was spotted by traffic officers.
The driver of the car was forced to pull over in Chorley Old Road.
After checking the vehicle, it was discovered that there was no valid insurance policy in place.
In a post on Facebook, a spokesman for GMP's Traffic Unit, said: "No prizes to why we stopped this one.
"XT18 stopped this Yaris on Chorley Old Road Bolton.
"No insurance held... car seized."
It is illegal to drive a vehicle on a road or in a public place without at least third party insurance.
The police could hand out a fixed penalty of £300 and six penalty points to drivers caught without insurance.
If the case goes to court, drivers can be handed an unlimited fine, or be disqualified from driving.
