THE white tiles, the ramps and Peppermint Place - this view of Blackburn’s shopping precinct in 1985 will no doubt bring back memories for those of us of a certain age who regularly frequented Blackburn town centre. The brick-paved courtyard complete with fountain was a nightmare to walk on when it rained!
