A MAN who stole a car and drove it whilst unfit through drugs has been ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work by Bolton magistrates.
Jamil Ahmed, aged 32, of Cecilia Street, Bolton, was caught driving a Renault Kadjar on Back Ellesmere Road, Bolton, on May 5. The vehicle had been stolen the previous day.
Ahmed pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without consent, having no licence or insurance and driving whilst unfit through drugs.
In addition to the unpaid work he was ordered to participate in 15 days of rehabilitation activities and pay £385 in costs and charges.
He was also banned from applying for a driving licence for two years.
