A CLOTHING company has raised more than £300,000 for charity with a new t-shirt asking people to "Be Kind".

Manchester-based online retailer In The Style has been generating money for The Samaritans following the death of TV star Caroline Flack.

The t-shirt features the wording: "In a world where you can be anything... Be kind."

Each t-shirt is selling at £10, with sizes ranging from 6 to 24. No shipping costs apply.

Adam Frisby, CEO of In The Style, said: “I am completely overwhelmed by the support for the ‘Be Kind’ t-shirt and would like to thank every single person who has bought one.

"This is such an important cause and although under devastating circumstances, I’m so proud In The Style can use our platform to raise awareness of mental health issues and support Samaritans to answer more calls, every day.

"We’ve raised over £300,000 so far and the team are working hard to get more t-shirts made so more people can show their support for this amazing cause.”
