BOLTON Council is asking people what the new sexual health service in the borough should look like.
The local authority has invited members to take part in survey to help redesign the adult sexual health service which it commissions.
The service currently covers contraception as well as prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections.
The consultation come as the current contract with Bolton NHS Foundation Trust comes to an end and the council has to put the service out to tender.
Bolton Council spokesman said: “The council commissions external providers to deliver sexual health services including contraception, prevention and treatment of STIs.
“The contract with the current provider is coming to an end and we wanted to take this opportunity to ask Bolton residents their views on sexual health as part of a wider consultation.
“The feedback will help us ensure we have the best possible service to meet the needs of the people of Bolton.”
Responses will be anonymous and they it cannot be linked to your email address. No individuals will be identified in any reports.
