READERS were full of praise for Bolton funnyman Peter Kay — as we revealed he was returning to host a string of Dance for Life shows later this year

After playing 14 UK arenas since 2016 and selling over 75,000 tickets, the dance-a-thon parties are on the road again and raising money for Cancer Research UK.

And Bolton News readers can't wait.

Here are just a few of the comments from our website.

davios: Brilliant news welcome back pal

Audi racer: Go for it Peter. A naturally funny witty guy.

Sidsnot: Brilliant glad Peter’s coming back cracks me up when he’s on.

I don’t believe it: Great news. Bolton hasn’t got much going for it at the moment, but at least we produce some good comedians (even Paddy?!)

Samson the Thief: You have been missed Peter. He always does something good to make the world a better place.

Minni Mouse: Great news

boynesider: Good to see him back.

Peter said: "I’ve honestly never had so much fun as I had working on Dance For Life.

"The atmosphere was so happy and positive; it really is a great way to raise money for the worthiest of causes. All people have to do is turn up and dance.

“I’d also like to encourage people to get themselves sponsored via JustGiving.com where a special Dance For Life team page has been set up.”

Tickets are £28.50 each and can be bought individually or in groups of any number. Fancy dress is optional and encouraged.
