BOLTON Council is aiming to become a net-zero carbon authority in the next decade — and you can get involved.
The Bolton Vision Partnership is holding a series of engagements over this summer to decide on Bolton's vision for a greener future.
Bolton residents are being invited to get involved in the "Big Climate Conversation" to share their views and discuss their climate priorities.
This follows the council's decision to officially declare a climate emergency in August of last year and committing to making the local authority's activities net-zero carbon by 2030.
Discussions will involve hundreds of local people and the Bolton Vision Partnership, a group of organisations and businesses working together to improve life in Bolton.
Bolton at Home Chief Exec Jon Lord, who chairs the group, said: "The local authority cannot tackle this issue alone. Businesses, organisations, charities and members of the public can all play a part in making Bolton cleaner and greener.
"I look forward to hearing a broad range of opinions in the coming months."
