Yes Matters UK is launching a CSE rehabilitation youth service in Bolton in response to recent reports of multiple failings in Greater Manchester.
Child Sex Exploitation (CSE) is the emotional, physical, and sexual exploitation of children — which has been very prevalent in recent years with the discovery of grooming gangs in Greater Manchester.
Gemma Aitchison, from Bolton, launched Yes Matters UK in late-2013 after her sister was murdered, aged only 16.
She said: "CSE happens more in poorer towns and has been more of a problem since austerity.
"I thought why don't I do something about it in my own town to help people deal with trauma in a healthy way.
"We cannot blame young people really, it is not their fault that this happens."
The launch is being held on Monday March 9 in commerce house from 12:30pm to 2pm.
