A NEW partnership has been forged between two well-known independent claims management firms in Bolton and Bury.

Auto Logistics Solutions (ALS) has teamed up with Bury-based Motor Claim Guru (MCG) to form a new post-accident alliance.

Kyle Harris, managing director of ALS, and Tim Kelly, who founded MCG, have more than 30 years of experience in the industry.

While Mr Harris has built up his business over 21 years, with other premises in Oldham, Mr Kelly, whose consultancy is in Bolton Street, has made a name for himself as the go-to expert for motoring columnist Honest John.

The fresh pairing is hoping to bring a ‘seamless’ service for motorists and fleet drivers in the event of a collision, when it comes to negotiating with garages, dealerships and insurance brokers.

Mr Harris said: “I am really pleased that ALS has joined forces with Motor Claim Guru to help motorists receive a transparent and fair service in the event of a claim.

“Both of our businesses have similar, strong cultures – where fair play and friendly, efficient accident management guidance are important to us.

“Bringing our services together with the independent, expert advice from MCG provides motorists with a valuable alternative provider in the competitive and often confusing claims management market.

“We both want to take the pain away from accident management for both drivers and bodyshops, so getting together was a no-brainer.”

Mr Kelly added: “My business receives several hundred hits every day – mostly from motorists who have been involved in accidents and are unsure about their rights and responsibilities.

“My aim is to fight the corner for drivers to ensure they get a good deal from their insurers.

“Linking up with ALS enables me to provide assistance, not just in dealing with the customer’s insurer, but with the positive resolution of the claim.

“I act as a signpost, pointing motorists to a reputable accident management service to help them with their claim on non-fault incidents.”
