A DRIVER who had drunk more than double the legal alcohol limit has been banned from holding a licence for 17 months.
At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Medhi Taassob, aged 39, of Clevelands Drive, Bolton, admitted drink driving and having no insurance when he drove a Volvo S40 on Portland Street, Manchester, on February 21.
In addition to the driving ban Taassob was fined £400 and ordered to pay £125 in costs and charges.
