Bocholt Way in Rawtenstall
A MAN fell 20ft down an embankment in Rawtenstall.
Fire crews were called to the embankment in Bocholt Way at 11.30pm on Friday.
Firefighters, as well as urban search and rescue staff, managed to pull the man out of the embankment using rope and a basket stretcher.
A fire service spokesman said they handed the man over to paramedics and were at the scene for an hour and a half.
