Incident in Pooltown Road/Regent Street area of Ellesmere Port.
A MAJOR police incident is ongoing in Ellesmere Port.
Police have closed off a stretch of Pooltown Road today (Sunday, March 15) and beyond the police cordon Regent Street has been closed. Several police vehicles can be seen in Regent Street.

Police are stopping vehicles and telling drivers that the incident is serious.
However, residents of Pooltown Road have been allowed in and out of the cordon.
