Carl Grimshaw, owner of Smithills Farm, said: “It’s been mega busy, mega hard work but really enjoyable.

“We started delivering about 14 months ago and it’s just snowballed and snowballed since we started up.

“The great thing for us is the support we get from everybody – all the local people who are looking to reduce the amount of plastic they use with our glass bottles, and the people who just want to support their local businesses.

“Some people just get milk, some just eggs, and even just ice cream from us, we deliver a bit of everything.”

To celebrate the incredible milestone, one lucky customer as given a tub of homemade ice cream.
