TWO stolen cars parked metres apart have been seized by police.
Officers on foot patrol in Tonge Moor this morning when they came across a wanted silver Vauxhall Corsa in Scowcroft Street.
The car had been stolen from a nearby garage.
It has since been seized and returned to its rightful owners, police said.
Shortly after finding the Vauxhall, officers from the same neighbourhood team came across another stolen car in Starkie Road.
The grey BMW 4 Series had been stolen in a burglary at a house in Bury on Tuesday.
It was also discovered to be on false plates.
Officers then seized the car and took it in for forensic examination.
