TWO teenage boys have been remanded in custody after appearing in court in connection with an incident in Great Lever.
It comes after police were called to respond to a disturbance in Higher Swan Lane shortly 5pm on March 17.
Later that evening a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was arrest on suspicion of robbery.
The following morning an 18-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Both were taken into custody by police for interview.
The 14-year-old was later charged with aggravated vehicle taking.
While, Jensen McNally, aged 18, of Towers Avenue Deane, has been charged with six offences.
These are: aggravated vehicle taking, possession of an offensive weapon, dangerous driving, driving with no insurance, failing to stop following an accident, and failing to stop for a constable.
McNally and the 14-year-old were remanded in custody and appeared in court on March 19.
At the court the 14-year-old was again remanded in custody to appear at Manchester & Salford Youth Court at a later date.
McNally was also remanded in custody to appear at Bolton Crown Court at a later date.
