Police are investigating after two people were injured in a crash on Chorley Old Road.
Officers were called to the site shortly after 3.30pm to reports of a collision between a red Mercedes and a black Toyota.
The driver of the Mercedes failed to remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
An ambulance was sent to the accident, and two injuries have been reported.
The accident initially blocked traffic in both directions, but no road closures are currently in place.
