GMP Traffic reported multiple incidents in the early hours of Tuesday morning, as people continue to roam the streets during coronavirus restrictions.
GMP Traffic first reported on its Twitter a white Astra GTC that had been on the police's radar for a few months.
It was said to have evaded the police a few months ago, after it mounted the central reserve on Moss Bank Way.
However, the police caught up with it again in the early hours of Tuesday morning and pulled it over.
It was caught in Little Lever, with the driver found to be only a provisional licence holder with no insurance.
The police announced the car had been seized off the driver.
Elsewhere a car was chased from Farnworth into Tonge Moor, after a driver falsely thought the police were after them.
They ran a red light in Farnworth before abandoning the car in Larkfield Grove, where they would be detained and the car was seized.
