A planning application has been submitted to open a cafe in Wigan Road.
The site, which is thought to have last been an electronic cigarettes shop, has had a planning application submitted for it, with the intention to change it to an Indian street food restaurant.
The application was submitted and acknowledged on March 19, with a decision expected to be made by the council by at least mid way through May.
The application argues that it is a suitable location for a restaurant, with free parking in the area.
