Brownhill roundabout, 1992
Today it is one of the busiest road junctions out of Blackburn but when this photograph was taken from the skies back in 1992, Brownhill roundabout looks an awful lot quieter. The Brownhill Arms is instantly recognisable as are the row of cottages with their long gardens next to it. This was before traffic lights had been installed on the roundabout.
