These are the faces of eight people who were given prison sentences last month.

Theo Samuels, aged 20, of Chorley Old Road, Bolton, was jailed for 30 months after he was caught dealing drugs from his car and drove dangerously at pursuing police.

Shaun Wynne, aged 38, of Cobden Street, Halliwell, stole an 81-year-old woman's handbag. The pensioner had befriended him as he sat begging outside Asda in Astley Bridge. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison.

Michael Hassan, aged 28, of Claypool Road, Horwich, was jailed for three years and six months for drug dealing after he was caught attempting to flush cocaine and heroin down a toilet.

Leon Blears, aged 33, of no fixed address, threw a brick a man's face, fracturing an eye socket, after the victim suggested places where Blears' friend could obtain free food. Blears was jailed for 14 months.

Laura Hardman,aged 26, of Sandringham Drive, Leigh, bit a man's finger off after she took her 18-month child into a Little Hulton pub and he questioned her parenting. She was jailed for four years.

Jordat Kamran, aged 48, of Atkinson Avenue, Bolton, was sentenced to nine months in prison for picking up a knife and threatening to kill his wife. He was released because of the time already spent in custody on remand.

Kyle Nicholson, aged 26, of Oakhill Court, Salford, punched his former partner and threatening to pour bleach over her after turning up at her Farnworth home. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison.

James Bosheya, aged 51, of Coronation Gardens, Radcliffe, raped and sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl. He was jailed for 11 years.
