ST HELENS has had 61 confirmed cases of coronavirus according to the latest Government statistics.
According to the figures released yesterday (Tuesday, March 31) the borough has had 61 confirmed cases of Covid-19.
This is an increase of 12 from the figure of 49 on the previous day.
Meanwhile, Knowsley now has 42 cases.
Three people have died in Whiston Hospital after contracting coronavirus, NHS England confirmed on Tuesday.
There are likely to many more people with the virus, self-isolating at home.
Across the UK there have been 25,150 confirmed cases, with 1,789 people having died after having tested positive for the coronavirus.
