ANOTHER person has died at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.
There have now been five confirmed deaths at Dorset County Hospital so far.
Yesterday it was confirmed one person died while under the care of The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals on March 30.
Another person died at Poole Hospital the following day.
Last week, three people who tested positive for coronavirus died at hospitals in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
One person died on Wednesday, March 25, while under the care of The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, while a further two people died at Poole General Hospital the following day.
Another person at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust died on March 28.
The number of people to have died of coronavirus in the UK has reached 2,921.
As of 9am today, 163,194 people have been tested, of which 33,718 were confirmed positive, according to the Department of Health.
As of 5pm last night, of those hospitalised in the UK who tested positive for coronavirus, 2,921 have died. It was an increase of 569 from the day before.
The figures for test results and for deaths are compiled from different sources.
This is why the figures for deaths are reported from an earlier point in time than the figures for test results.
