We are launching a campaign to shine the spotlight on those everyday workers, keyworkers and community heroes across Bolton.

The team at The Bolton News want to celebrate everything that they are doing during the COVID 19 lockdown to keep us moving.

Whether it’s your local butcher, bin man, pharmacist, vet, convenience store worker or anyone that you can think of who is doing something worthy within your community, then please let us know why they deserve some recognition.

Nurses, teachers and councillors, even children can be nominated for lifting our spirits and being a there for us during the coronavirus lockdown.

These are the folk who are keeping Bolton going, looking after us during these uncertain times and truly deserve to be showcased as we launch this campaign.

Karl Holbrook, group editor at Newsquest said: “We want you to tell us about those frontline workers, not necessarily just the NHS workers but those who are keeping it all together, making sure we are getting what we need and keeping us moving.

“It’s stressful for everyone at the moment and this is an ideal time to highlight the good news stories coming from people who are living and working in the communities across Bolton.”

Who is your community hero?

Tell us all about them by emailing simone.okane@newsquest.co.uk or call 07825521553.
