A PERSONALISED gift website has lunched a free Easter eBook to keep kids occupied this bank holiday.

The book can be downloaded from GiftsOnline4U, and can also be printed off to be used as an Easter Egg hunt for children.

A spokeswoman for the website said: "For those with young children, the prospect of an outdoor Easter Egg hunt might sound like bliss right now but with lockdown in the UK in full swing and no sign of restrictions being lifted before Easter weekend, it's likely going to be another weekend spent at home.

"In celebration of Easter, we have created a free downloadable Easter Ebook, which is interactive and includes ten different Easter Egg designs that can be printed out and coloured in, these can be hidden around the house to create an indoor Easter Egg hunt."

Meanwhile, Friends of Farnworth Park have announced that they are launching an Easter Egg appeal instead of hosting an Easter Egg hunt.

They said: "We have partnered up with Bolton at Home who will incorporate sending out the chocolate eggs alongside Covid-19 humanitarian response food parcels to the vulnerable and struggling households."
