A further eight people have died at Royal Bolton Hospital with coronavirus.
NHS England confirmed the new deaths earlier this afternoon.
The data revealed that four more people had died from the virus on Friday, taking the total to five, with four deaths on Saturday.
Five deaths were announced yesterday.
A total of 65 people have now died in the borough with the virus, with 9,594 deaths across England.
These numbers may rise as deaths can be added to the statistics days afterwards when a post mortem confirms the diagnosis.
Figures do not include deaths which may have occurred outside hospitals, such as in care homes.
Of the 657 deaths announced today, 42 patients had no underlying health conditions.
Patients were aged between 26 and 100 years old.
Latest figures, correct as of 9am Saturday morning, showed 272 people had tested positive for the virus in Bolton.
