Crews have been called to the scene of a fire in Westhoughton.
Witnesses have reported seeing "massive clouds" of black smoke shortly after 4pm.
The fire is believed to be taking hold of a farm building, the cause is not yet known.
Paris Hayes, a student at the University of Central Lancashire, captured footage of the smoke from his home.

He saw four fire engines on the scene.
