Five more patients have died at Royal Bolton Hospital after contracting coronavirus.
Figures released by NHS England this afternoon confirmed two patients had died with the virus on Monday, with three more deaths yesterday.
A total of 160 people have now died in the borough's hospital after contracting coronavirus.
These figures are correct as of 5pm on Tuesday evening, but may rise as some positive results can be received days after the patient's death.
Figures do not include deaths which may have occurred outside hospitals, such as in care homes, where at least 36 deaths in Bolton have been linked to covid-19.
NHS England also confirmed hospitals across the country had recorded 445 new deaths of patients who tested positive for covid-19, bringing the total number of deaths in English hospitals to 19,740.
More than 161,000 people across the UK have tested positive for covid-19, with 711 cases of the virus confirmed in the borough as of 9am yesterday morning.
