Three more people have now died in the borough after contracting coronavirus.
NHS England confirmed that two patients had passed away with covid-19 yesterday, with one further death confirmed from Wednesday, bringing the daily total to two.
A total of 166 people have now died at Royal Bolton Hospital with the virus
NHS England also confirmed 352 new deaths of people who tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 20,483.
The news comes as the government failed to meet their daily testing target of 100,000 tests.
Yesterday, which marked the deadline of the goal, 86,555 tests were available.
As of 9am yesterday morning, 739 people had tested positive for the virus in the borough.
