POLICE have arrested a drug driver after he borrowed his mum's car to get cash.
Officers from a GMP Traffic patrol spotted the Seat Ibiza parked on the pavement outside the Morrisons Daily store on Brownlow Way.
A tweet from the team read: "The driver of this Seat Ibiza clearly didn't like any of the empty parking spaces and decided the footpath was a better place to park on Brownlow Way, Bolton.
"He had borrowed his mums car to go to the cash point."
The car was seized as the driver was uninsured, and the man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after he allegedly tested positive for cocaine at the roadside.
