A group of residents are celebrating after winning a sizeable amount, all thanks to their postcode.
Thirteen residents of Bolton were announced as winners of £1,000 each yesterday, as a result of the People's Postcode Lottery.
The residents celebrating were all neighbours of Springfield Gardens, in Keasley, who were announced as winners of the "Daily Prize" from the People's Postcode Lottery, when BL4 8JP was chosen for the prize.
Danyl Johnson, an ambassador for People's Postcode Lottery, said: "I'm so pleased for our winners today, congratulations to them.
"I hope they treat themselves to something nice with their winnings.”
Yesterday's draw was promoted by the NSPCC, which has received £3.9 million in funding from players of the Postcode Lottery.
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes to charities and over £500 million has been raised by players of the Postcode Lottery for good causes to date.
