A MAN has been jailed for 19 weeks after he ignored a restraining order banning him from contacting a woman or going to Bentham Close, Bolton.
The order was made on May 7 after Timothy Nolan, aged 27, of Thornton Close, Farnworth, was given a suspended prison sentence for assault and damage.
But on May 15 Nolan breached the restraining order. He was jailed after admitting the offence when he appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.
