A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a street fight.
Several people reported a disturbance in Western Road, St Leonards, to police at 6pm on Friday.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A 40-year-old man from Hastings and a 52-year-old man from St Leonards were arrested on suspicion of affray. Both have released under investigation pending further enquiries. A 31-year-old woman from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of affray and assault by beating. She has been released on conditional bail until June 12.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Police are keen to hear from anyone who has any information about the altercation, who saw what happened or who may have photographs or videos of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 1111 of 15/05. Alternatively, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers.”
