Firefighters are currently tackling a fire at a scrap yard in Wigan, with thick smoke pouring across the region.
The blaze in Moat House Street, Ince is currently being fought by firefighters from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS).
Manchester Road has been closed between Ince Green Lane and Makerfield Way Motorway.
Six fire engines are currently on the scene, with the fire involving a "large quantity of tyres."
GMFRS has warned people to avoid the area and for nearby residents keep their windows and doors closed.
