A BOLTON man has been charged following a number of burglaries in Bury.
Fifty-two year-old Paul Rogers, of Drayton Close, Halliwell, has been charged with two sneak-in burglaries, attempted theft of a vehicle and theft of fuel.
One alleged burglary involved stealing house and car keys in Brandlesholme Road, Greenmount, on May 5.
He also attempted to steal a Mercedes on the same day.
Another burglary he has been charged with involves stealing cash in Countess Lane, Radcliffe on May 3 and he is also said to have stolen diesel from Tesco at Hindley on May 9.
A GMP Bolton North spokesman said: "Officers from GMP Bury North and the Bury Divisional Tasking Team arrested Rogers on Tuesday, May 19, and managed to secure charges whilst he was in custody.
"He was remanded in police custody to appear at court on Wednesday, May 20."
Rogers will next appear before a judge at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on June 17 after being committed there in custody by Manchester magistrates.
