MESSENGER columnist Wayne Devlin has received a High Sheriff Special Recognition Award for his support of the community in Trafford.
Wayne was nominated for his community work before and during the current Covid-19 pandemic and the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, Dr Eamonn O’Neal saw fit to award him with a special recognition award for his outstanding activity and contribution to the community.
The award also recognises the appreciation of the people of Greater Manchester for the altruistic acts of thoughtfulness and kindness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Having written his column Wayne’s World for the past two years Wayne has promoted Trafford and highlighted all the amazing individuals we have within it.
Wayne said “I am very grateful for those who nominated me for this lovely award and of course to the High Sheriff who saw fit to include me in his list of awardees”.
