A DARLINGTON street has been cordoned off following reports of a gas leak this afternoon.
The fire service has taped off South Terrace and it is understood officials from the National Grid have been called.
The Northern Echo understands that no properties both in the street, and nearby, have been evacuated although the road remains blocked off.
