POLICE have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted in Queen's Park.
At around 8.55am on Tuesday, May 12, police were called to reports that a woman in her 50s had been approached by a man in the park.
Officers attended and enquiries established that the victim was near the duck pond when the man tried to start a conversation.
The man then allegedly put his arm around her before sexually assaulting her and fleeing the scene on foot in the direction of Chorley New Road.
An investigation is currently underway and no arrests have yet been made.
The offender is described as having a European accent- which is possibly Portuguese.
