AN investigation is underway into reports of a stabbing at a house in Radcliffe on Saturday night.
Police have confirmed that they were called to a house in Eton Hill Road after a confrontation between two men at around 8.30pm.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Initial enquiries have established the incident happened during an altercation between two men.
"The victim – a man in his 20s – suffered non-serious stab wounds and was treated at the scene."
No confirmation has yet been issued regarding any arrests over the stabbing.
But several police cars, an ambulance and a paramedic rapid response car are understood to have been dispatched to Croft Lane, close to the entrance to the East Lancs Paper Mills Cricket Club, as a result of the same inquiry.
