THE driver of a £70,000 Porsche was reportedly clocked by police travelling at 94 miles per hour in a 40 miles per hour zone.
Officers from Dorset Police's No Excuse Team are said to have spotted the white Boxster 718 GTS in Ringwood Road, Bearcross, on Wednesday morning.
An officer from the team said: "We are appalled to witness such dangerous, reckless and inconsiderate driving.
"The driver was sorry for his actions stating: 'Sorry I've been stupid, a car was annoying me so I accelerated to overtake it'.
"He already holds points on his driving licence for speeding, he will now be summoned to court."
Police also issued fixed penalties to three Mercedes drivers and another Porsche driver shortly before this incident.
