A TEENAGER was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed in Little Hulton.
Police and paramedics were called to Old Lane at around 2.30pm on Monday, June 8.
Eye witnesses reported an air ambulance hovering above the scene before it landed in nearby Thornfield Grove at around 2.45pm.
A 19-year-old man was found with what were described as "serious injuries" and he was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 2:30pm this afternoon (Monday 8 June 2020), police were called to reports of a man being stabbed on Old Lane.
"Emergency services attended and a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious stab wound. He remains there in a stable condition.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
"If anyone has any information, please call police on 0161 856 5187, quoting incident number 1419 of 08/06/2020.
"Reports can also be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
