A BOLTON man has denied three firearms offences following an incident in March 2020.
Appearing at Bolton Crown Court, via videolink from HMP Forest Bank, Mohammed Aqeel Khan, 27, of Malton Avenue, Bolton, pleaded not guilty to one charge of possessing an illegal firearm and two charges of possessing ammunition without a certificate.
The charges relate to an incident on March 11 when officers from Greater Manchester Police's Xcalibre and Challenger teams executed a warrant at a property on Malton Avenue in Bolton.
Police confirmed at the time that they had seized a number of items, including a handgun and live ammunition.
Judge Timothy Stead remanded Khan in custody and set a trial date for August 11, 2020 with the trial expected to last three days.
