Aerial view of Blackburn town centre
This great aerial view of Blackburn town centre shows how much has changed in recent years. Sadly we don’t have a date for the photograph but you can clearly make out the shopping centre rooftop car park (top left) and the walkway connecting the library with King George’s Hall.
This was before Blackburn College expanded with large empty spaces on the right of the picture.
Preston New Road heads off to the bottom right of the picture from Sudell Cross. What else can you recognise?
