PEOPLE have been spotted in open water at a beauty spot today, Thursday, near to where a Farnworth teenager drowned a few weeks ago.
Adam Kay tragically died at the age of 14 after getting into difficulties in the River Irwell at Clifton Country Park in Salford on Tuesday, June 2.
Today, Salford City Council issued a warning for people not to go into open water but that message was clearly being ignored by some visitors to the park.
A number of families were pictured spending time in the water.
